The accommodation was the best in the UK, with a beautiful establishment; the staff were friendly and kind, the cooks made dinner food that was amazing, and breakfast was delicious—truly we cannot thank you enough, everything was 10 out of 10. We loved it all and wished we had stayed another night.

The location and old‑world atmosphere were positives, but having to pre‑order breakfast was a drawback; the hot food arrived too early and cereal followed afterward, and the bedroom was rather spartan and not cosy.
