Maldron Hotel Tallaght

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was extremely noisy all night because it was directly on the roadside, and the traffic could be heard even with the windows closed, making it hard to sleep. I stayed awake most of the night. The room was also extremely hot and had no air conditioning; the small fan that was provided barely worked. Opening the window let in unbearable traffic noise, while keeping it closed made the room too hot to sleep comfortably. I also noticed there was no fridge in the room, which was disappointing given the €163 price for one night. Overall, I do not think the room was worth the price. The combination of excessive noise, lack of air conditioning, a faulty fan, and lack of basic facilities made the stay very uncomfortable. I would not consider this room good value for €163 per night.

The bed was comfy, the room was clean and had everything you need. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a wide variety. However, the doors slam loudly, making the place noisy and disturbing sleep, especially when other guests enter their rooms at night. I also hear people moving furniture and showering at any hour. After eating sausages, the room smelled bad, and airing it out made the odor worse.

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and really good. A great band playing traditional music on Wednesday evening was a wonderful surprise. The bar staff could be a bit more friendly.
