The location is easy to find and sits in a calm, quiet spot that’s great for unwinding. From there, you can easily reach many must-see places—waterfalls, mountains, and other heritage sites around the town and district. The facility is overall spacious, with large rooms that are well maintained. The staff are friendly and customer‑oriented. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and colleagues from overseas.

I had the most wonderful stay at Diyon Bungalow in Bandarawela! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how unique and beautiful the whole place is. The building itself is stunning, with natural rocks built right into the structure, giving it such a raw, earthy charm you don’t usually see. Inside, the rooms were just as impressive, tastefully designed, cozy, and decorated with so many unique art pieces on the walls that gave the whole place so much character and personality. The location is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by greenery and peaceful views, making it the perfect escape from the city. Every morning we woke up to fresh air and stunning scenery right outside our window. And the food, honestly incredible. Every meal felt fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care, almost like home‑cooked food. The staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Diyon Bungalow truly exceeded our expectations in every way, as the architecture, the art, the food, the views, all of it. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Bandarawela.
