The peaceful setting of the village and its friendly residents were a highlight. The eclipse section was beautiful and exciting. The cleanliness was flawless, probably the best I've seen, and the hotel had a retro vibe that was very clean. The reception at arrival was rather surreal, the photos did not match the room we chose, among other things.

The location was fine, but there was no air conditioning and the unit was noisy. The owners focused on the bar, leaving the hotel in a poor state unless their family or friends—who took over the pool—were around. We had to endure kids and older guests shouting. If you enjoy rustic horror vibes, this is your spot—like a cheap version of “The Shining.” The 80s fridge was a real shock; I found it locked, and when I asked at the bar they said you have to book it. The girl in the room next to us said the same, and her TV didn’t work either. In short, don’t trust the pool and facility photos—they’re probably from at least 20 years ago.
