Atherton Hinterland Motel

“Relatively basic and old, much nicer properties in the area at similar or less $”

The location was decent, but the building feels old and the facilities are outdated. The bathroom is tiny, like a csbin style, and the floor can be very slippery and dangerous.

The staff were exceptional; when we asked about utensils for the BBQ area, they handed us a basket full of everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras like condiments and cooking spray. The unit was clean, well appointed, and spacious. The only downside was that the bed was harder than I prefer; a mattress topper would have been a nice addition.

“It was good over all especially the electric car charge point”

The bed mattress needs to be replaced.

“The staff were great and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable with all our needs being met.”

I liked the garden view room because it was off the street and offered privacy.

“Very budget”

Unfortunately not much Pillows were good. Old, tired, shower tiny, sink too shallow, bed coverings old, bed old, lamps near bed too bright, no extra blankets, our unit had no table and chair to sit outside like other units
