“Viešnagė puiki”
The hotel is very beloved and well‑maintained, clean and tidy everywhere; the management was handled excellently, the food was good, and the restaurant at dinner was covered with tablecloths, something most tourist hotels don’t bother to do. The linens are changed daily, which is rare in Spanish hotels that only have four stars. The beach right next to the hotel is great. The outdoor pool isn’t heated, but in September it was fine. Staff are unseen, but everything is organized. Guests from Germany are quiet, calm, polite, and older. Live music plays several times a week. The town has no old town—most hotels, bars, restaurants, and Chinese grocery stalls are on the promenade. The hotel has no families with children. The fruit selection is small. Coffee at breakfast was bad, though the coffee at the pool bar is excellent. The sound insulation in the rooms is poor; at least a chair’s legs were propped up with a towel because guests get up early and, as agreed, all push the chairs.
