“Good thanks”
There was no breakfast included, but a nearby breakfast shop was easy to reach from the hotel’s convenient spot. The only drawback was the lack of proper storage for clothes.

The bathroom was very clean and the hot water was plenty, but the bed felt very hard.

The hotel sits close to the city centre, but the toilet was too small and the sink looked like a cup, which was a bit annoying.

The room was quirky yet lovely, with its own bathroom. I stayed on the ground floor at the front, and because the building is in a quiet residential area it was fine. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Tea, coffee, and a bunch of biscuits were provided, and the instructions for entering the house and my room were clear. The wall clock made a ticking noise and seemed broken, so it probably needs a new battery. The bathroom fan worked properly but stayed on for a long time after the light was switched off. I struggled to find standard live channels on TV, like BBC and ITV, so I ended up watching iPlayer and BBC News instead. These small issues didn’t ruin my stay.

The room was very clean, but the bed was positioned against the wall, so you had to climb over the other person to reach the toilet at night.
