The reception was friendly and they even suggested places to visit, plus the hotel’s proximity to the Golden Temple was great; nothing else to note.

The property was nice with a clean room close to the Golden Temple, but the lanes are narrow and cab access is difficult.

The biggest draw was the spot—just a 2‑minute walk from the Golden Temple, which was a relief for our senior travelers and made everything stress‑free; I’d highly recommend it. One heads‑up: the hotel sits in Amritsar’s narrow alleys, so most taxis can’t get in directly—tuk‑tuks or battery rickshaws are the best way to reach the front.

I never actually stayed there; I was told to cancel a booking I’d made two weeks earlier. When I called, they claimed the reservation was already cancelled, said the new owner couldn’t honor it, gave no reason, and was rude and arrogant. They even tried to re‑offer the room at a higher price. Avoid them and never share your credit card details with them—they’re just dishonest.
