The old farm was converted into a guesthouse with rooms of various sizes, cottages, and apartments; there are ponies, goats, sheep, and two water buffaloes. The drive is a bit bumpy because the last 3 km are a gravel track, but the setting is absolutely peaceful and safe. The staff are very friendly and competent. Breakfast and dinner (you choose from several dishes in the morning) were excellent and plentiful. It’s a great base for the Drakensberg; behind the farm you can do a short hike to a viewpoint. The pool, bar, and billiards are there, and a massage was very relaxing. All in all, a perfectly successful time at the guest farm.

The farmyard vibe was great – our bungalow was fantastic and had everything we needed plus more. The restaurant was excellent and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable – a memorable stay. All good – no complaints.
