How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The house was nice and the owners were kind, yet we didn’t realize from the description that we’d be sharing the space with them and other guests—more like a hostel. The owner pointed us toward a good nearby restaurant and a fabulous winery that we ended up loving. The road on the way is being upgraded, so a 4x4 is recommended.

Even though no one else was in the apartment at check‑in except the friendly Monica (a wonderful Pitbull), Levani arranged a pleasant and engaging wait from a distance, and when he arrived to prepare the room he offered a wine tasting with interesting conversation, piano music, local attraction recommendations, and booked a table at the lakefront restaurant in Kvareli. In short, he embodied the best of Georgian hospitality, leaving us with warm memories of the city and surroundings thanks to staying at Levani’s “dacha for friends.”

The place is very beautiful and the view is mesmerizing—coffee or a glass of wine with such vistas is priceless. The front shows the mountains, and above, eagles circle. It’s very quiet and melodic; in the morning, bells ring from cows passing the fence. The grounds smell of green plants, and there’s a barbecue area. We bought meat on the way from Tbilisi, picked up a grapevine at a local supermarket for a barbecue, and the evening was perfect. The host was very hospitable and intelligent, and we spent the night in engaging conversation with wine tasting. Everything was magnificent.
