A very cozy place to stay. The charm, the bed, and the view were all wonderful.

The kitchen can be used for cooking (though it’s a bit small, especially if the house is full of guests). The heating works in winter, so you won’t get cold. The surroundings of Stamsund are beautiful, like all of Lofoten. We stayed on the third floor, while the toilet is only on the first floor. If you don’t need to go to the toilet at night, it’s a minor issue, otherwise it’s a bit inconvenient. The kitchen is very small, especially if there are more guests (we didn’t have a problem because there were few guests).

The owner’s kindness was evident, the room was spacious, and the value for money was excellent.

Everything you need was available and the hosts were very nice. Thanks to them we could even spot the Northern Lights right at the accommodation. The only thing to note is that the beds might be a bit too soft for some, and you have to climb two steep stairs to reach the toilet. Other than that everything was great!

A charming old house with a steep wooden staircase that feels like a workout at first, earning it an extra star for the old‑world vibe. The stairs also make it easy to chat with other guests, and the host family is very friendly. The breakfast is self‑served; you bring your own food and cook it in the kitchen.
