The location was excellent, even in Tomar’s historic centre, making it easy to walk to the main sights, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. However, the facilities clearly need a remodel and better upkeep; the beds were uncomfortable, and both the décor and furniture were outdated, which made the space feel unwelcoming. Our room had no window, and the bathroom’s old window didn’t close properly, adding to the discomfort.
