“Disappointment.”
The hallway was absurdly long, and we ended up at a room on the far end after what seemed like an endless walk; the paint thinner smell was almost intoxicating. We asked for a change, and the staff confirmed the odor was unacceptable, but the replacement room was again at the end of the hallway, right next to the laundry, so the washing machine noise played through the whole night. The room design and overall vibe felt dreary, and at the price point it was not cheap compared to similar places, so the whole experience was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the breakfast meatballs were delicious and the beds were comfortable.
