It was hard to tell the toilet and shower room apart; the bed was clean but the outlets and light switches were dirty.

I was just a short walk from the airport, which was handy, but the lock on room 101 was so confusing that people kept tripping the alarm at night trying to figure out how to stop it. Later I realized everyone had given up and left the door wide open, so I had to rely on a curtain to keep anyone out. I guess I got lucky.

The place was still available for same‑day check‑in, which was convenient. I stayed on the second floor, but when the trash cans arrived around 17:00 they were already pretty full. The shower door on the second floor was broken, something I remember was fine the last time I stayed. The first floor had a microwave, but there was none on the second, so I had to go down to use it. I’ve stayed here a few times and it feels like the facilities are getting worse and the price is creeping up. Still, it’s relatively cheap for Tokyo.

Getting out of the station was a quick walk, especially handy for late arrivals when trains are about to close. The price was good for what you get: a bed, a bit of personal space, and clean rooms. Nearby restaurants and convenience stores made grabbing something quick easy. The entrance was crowded with maintenance supplies and there was no proper place to store shoes. The washroom curtains and booths had weak locks or no signs to show you’re still there, so people could intrude.
