The room was tidy and comfortable, breakfast tasted good, and we liked the hot tub; the hotel was also pet friendly. The room felt a little cramped, so my husband and I had to shuffle around to get past each other. Because they allow pets, we were a bit uneasy when our 10‑lb dog barked for 2 minutes while we were loading our car, and the staff immediately let us know; you might expect a bit of dog noise in the afternoon.

The location was great—just a stone’s throw from restaurants, Walmart, and grocery stores, and the staff were AMAZING! The hotel had booked rooms for a boys’ baseball team and spread them across every floor instead of just the lower levels, so we heard yelling, beds being jumped on, and doors slamming in the hallways and above us all weekend. The pool “room” was very dark, the lights were off, the water was murky, and the temperature was extremely cold, so we didn’t stay long. Breakfast was included but mediocre; they only served eggs, sausage, and potatoes (which ran out halfway through our long weekend) and then swapped them for beans. For the price, the hot‑food selection was disappointing. They also had a bread/bagel area, a waffle station, and coffee/hot water. The rooms were very small, leaving no space for a stroller, and if you’re in a wheelchair or have a walker, it would likely not fit around the beds.
