There was nothing good because I had to leave the place. The listing implied that the accommodation included a kitchen, but the confirmation only mentioned a dining area (just a table). That misled me, probably on purpose, and caused me to book. The host, before opening the room, asked what I expected to find, and when I listed a kitchen, he warned there might be a misunderstanding and that there was no kitchen. Additionally, the wall next to the bed and the power outlet had water‑damage stains. I was traveling with my wife and a 14‑year‑old daughter who is allergic to mold. The lack of a kitchen combined with the mold (see attached photo) forced me to leave. I couldn’t find another place, so I had to abandon my holiday and drive 622 kilometres back home, adding over 1200 kilometres in one day with all the associated risks. Even though the booking was non‑refundable, the host and the platform promptly refunded the full amount, showing how indefensible the situation was and that both the host and the platform understood I would never stay. What wasn’t refunded was the travel cost and the fact that my only week of vacation was ruined.

A sweet black kitten came to visit us on the balcony. 🐈⬛❤️ It’s so sweet and affectionate: loves being petted, but never enters the house. Very well‑mannered and truly adorable! Absolutely the highlight of the stay. 😄

We appreciated Alberto’s warm welcome and his readiness to help! The accommodation sits nicely in Prescice. However, the place feels a bit cramped, a quick refreshment would be nice, and it’s annoying to hear tires squealing from the street.

If you’re after an authentic stay in lower Salento, away from the bustle of crowded beach towns yet close enough to reach the sea in a few minutes by car, this property is a perfect pick. Cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms are spacious, cool thanks to the thick ancient walls, and equipped with air‑conditioning. The real bonus is the owner, Alberto, whose management is the epitome of Apulian hospitality! He greets guests warmly and is always ready to help, offering a genuine “personal guide” to Salento and being available at any time for any need. Highly recommended!
