Fährhaus Kirschenland

“Vorzeitige Abreise wegen Zustand des Zimmers”

Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short. The room smelled strongly of smoke, which was unacceptable for us. Additionally, the room was in a state that fell short of our expectations. Throughout our stay there were many mosquitoes in the room. When we were leaving, no staff were available on site, so we couldn’t resolve our issue immediately. We filed a complaint. Overall the stay did not meet our expectations and we cannot recommend the accommodation in its current condition.

The location is great, and parking is available. The breakfast buffet was a bit small, but it had everything you need.

“Immer wieder Fährhaus”

A very pleasant stay. The houseboat has a fantastic location right on the Elbe and a unique charm. It’s the perfect spot for a short cycling holiday! Nothing to complain about.

“Gute Tage im Alten Land”

Parking is ample, the staff are friendly, the place is clean, Wi‑Fi is available, and breakfast is adequate. The room was very spacious; it’s a lovely old building where things aren’t all perfectly straight. The bathroom was not appealing to us – it felt old and worn out, had too few shelves for cosmetics and toiletries, and everything seemed a bit loose. There was also no storage for e‑bikes; the area is at the side entrance, somewhat covered, and supposedly accessible to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay and were completely satisfied! The accommodation is truly beautiful, well maintained, and has a great atmosphere. We especially appreciated that our dog was warmly welcomed – the stay was very pleasant for him as well. Even though we don’t speak German, communication was no problem at all. Everything worked wonderfully and we felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you for the lovely time! We will definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend this place.
