“Super fijn hotel, kleinschalig en in het centrum”

I was warmly welcomed by Sonja along with a few other ladies, I’m not sure if they’re sisters running the hotel; I had some internet issues and a problem with the key card to open the door, and Sonja helped me right away and offered me coffee. It’s a small hotel where you can eat breakfast inside or outside; a short walk takes you to a supermarket, a little further there’s a small “bakery”, and beyond that the shopping street begins. The fridge in the room was really cold. The bathroom was spacious. To go to the beach, with a nice long boulevard and many beach tents, you need a car or you can take the bus. You can also easily take the bus to Marballa or Puerto Banús. I have nothing to complain about; if anything, finding a parking spot is difficult, but that’s true in many places in Spain.

We enjoyed two nights in the old part of Marbella. The location was lovely – only about 10 minutes to the beach and plenty of life around us. The hotel is a small family-run place with a unique charm. Everyone we met was incredibly sweet, friendly, and smiling, creating a great atmosphere throughout our stay. Yes, the hotel is a bit worn, but that is completely offset by their warm welcome and the delicious breakfast we looked forward to each day. All in all, a cozy stay full of personality and heart.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff are charming and very attentive. One thing I missed was having a mini fridge in the room so you could keep a cold drink handy.
