Umoya is an incredible lodge. The facilities, the location, the tranquility, the attention to detail, but especially the staff. The staff is what makes this place so unique. You feel instantly welcome and looked after as friends, rather than guests. One of our party had food allergies, and all the team went out of their way to understand these and ensure we could be catered for.going as far as buying new kitchen equipment to ensure minimal risk of contamination. The food was excellent, and Happy and his team never failed to deliver. The bar staff, Jan, Chris and the others, always ensured your glasses were full and were great fun during our time in the main lodge. But a real highlight were the game drives. Rassie, our guide, is exceptionally knowledgeable and his passion for the bush and wildlife was always evident.and he loved sharing this with the guests. This was a truly memorable stay and I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you, Umoya. Everything was perfect

We spent four unforgettable days with our family at the lodge, which is beautiful, well‑decorated, bright, and the rooms feel very cozy and brand‑new. What truly made the stay wonderful were the staff: Rassie, our tireless animal‑tracker, shared his friendly spirit and knowledge about the creatures; Chef David treated us to lovingly prepared, delicious dishes; El made us feel at home; and Jan greeted us with a smile. We learned a lot about animal life, a magical world that helped us cherish every minute of the games, and we enjoyed incomparable sunrise and sunset views. Every minute was worth it.

Everything enchanted us! The food from Chef David, the kindness of Gean (bartender), Roussie (ranger), Denica and Elné… all praise for everyone! I only suggest swapping the shower in the bathroom because the pressure was low.

Umoya Safari Lodge was exactly what we needed. It was so quiet at night, the lodge itself is beautiful and very clean, and the staff at reception were super friendly. Great stay all round. David and his kitchen staff make delicious food. I loved everything about the place 🤗 Nothing.
