The room, bed, and house were clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and smelled fresh. The room was a good size, warm, and had a spacious wardrobe with plenty of storage. The towels were clean and fresh, and the shower room and toilet were clean and a good size. The location was convenient, with Aldi and Asda nearby. Students were often walking to and from Liverpool Street, which made the area feel lively. The neighbourhood had a friendly, multicultural vibe. Although it’s an older area, the streets were clean and litter‑free. The room was good value for money. Parking was available on the road with plenty of spaces, and the street was well lit. The property is in a slightly deprived area, which initially made me feel a little uneasy, but I had no issues during my stay. The stairs to the upstairs room are very steep, so I’d recommend the ground‑floor room if mobility is a concern. The bathroom is also downstairs, which can be inconvenient, especially at night. There were two bedside tables and lights but there was nowhere to plug the second light on the right (when on the bed). The toilet seat needs fixing as it was very loose and frequently moved out of place after being used by other guests. It may also be worth reminding guests to keep the front door closed and locked, as it was often left open, which raised some security concerns.
