The calm, scenery, sustainability, and the staff's friendliness stood out; however, there was no snack bar or meals beyond breakfast.

It’s hard to imagine a better spot above the Douro with this view. Our room was set up perfectly, and from the bedroom we had an overwhelming view of the Douro Valley. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and while we self‑served for breakfast, what we saw looked very tempting. Of course, the pool with its view of the big river is unbeatable. More shade at the pool would be desirable during intense heat.

The location of the property is fantastic, offering an incomparable view of the Douro valley. The room is modern and equipped with every comfort. Breakfast is simple but very good, featuring local products, croissants, and freshly baked pastéis de nata. The pool is stunning, and overall the atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff are kind and helpful, and a plus is the family cat, a pleasant companion. Highly recommended! Congratulations.
