The hosts were exceptionally helpful, and we’re hugely grateful. The room offers a fantastic outlook, all facilities are good, and the breakfast is exceptional. We highly recommend staying at BellaVista. If you’re strong and fit, you can walk up the cliff to the centre of Taormina – it’s almost as quick as driving and you won’t have to pay a massive parking fee!

We stayed at several places on our trip, each with its own unique character, and this one had a special charm. The most striking thing was the beautiful sea view, which made the stay really pleasant. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty and good quality. I’d give it 9/10, taking one point off for the walk to the town. Although it’s less than a kilometer away, the road goes under a high hill, and on the steep section most of the railings are missing, so the route can be difficult and dangerous for some people, especially older folks or those with mobility issues. Luckily there’s a nearby bus stop, and buses run often, so you can comfortably get to town without walking that path. Overall a very pleasant place, mainly because of the sea view, the owner’s hospitality, and the tasty breakfast. 😊

The view is pretty, and the apartment is nice and very clean. The proximity to the train station is an issue, and the address is hard to find because the apartment is at the bottom of Taormina. The upper access path is interrupted, so you have to go down and then hike up a steep slope to reach the village.

The room is a simple but comfortable single with an amazing view, and you can walk up to the centre. The downside is the railway line below and the very steep path that leads into the centre.
