Comfortable, very helpful, they arranged a great safari for us and cooked delicious local meals; it wasn’t dirty, but being so surrounded by nature there were plenty of bugs (especially ants) in the bathroom and some in the room, which is normal.

Tribe Wilpattu Eco lodge is in a great location so close to the entrance of Wilpattu National Park. The staff was were fantastic! So welcoming and helpful, we had breakfast included which when asked what time we wanted it we told them we had an early start for our safari. They still made our breakfast in to go boxes and gave them to our safari tour guides at 5:45am in the morning. We got to have a breakfast at the national park and it was delicious. Our dinners as well were excellent we loved sitting outside surrounded by nature, each meal we had was 10/10. Our room was tidy but there were some insects which is to be expected out in the rural area. We brought our own mosquito net which made all the difference. We loved the outside bathroom with the shower. Nothing! Great stay

We were very close to the Safari, though it was a bit hard to walk out to the side street (but there wasn’t much else). The staff were friendly and clearly doing their best. We slept well the two nights we stayed. The only downside was that it was too far from anything else, though I heard they’re expanding, which could be good for them later.

The food was great, we really enjoyed it! The room was awesome and the staff were adorable. The only issue was that the shower opened onto the outside, which bothered us a bit because we were worried about attracting mosquitoes.

Right in the middle of nature. Only 2 basic rooms but nicely and functionally arranged with a lovely outdoor shower. Occasional frog visits (but that’s just being in nature). Great breakfast and dinner. The lunch that came with the Safari was also fantastic. The staff and manager were super friendly and helpful.
