“Accueil très désagréable, attitude manquant de générosité, équipements restreints,défectueux. À fuir”
The good points were outweighed by everything else. A communal fridge in the garden was barely warm; we thought breakfast was included but it wasn’t. Our reservation was forgotten, so we had to change rooms the next morning, which was inconvenient and we couldn’t settle in or relax. We had to handle our own luggage during the room switch, something the owner should have managed. She did offer us breakfasts for the two days as compensation, but they were not the same as those given to other guests: no homemade yogurt, no fruit juice on the second day, and no fruit unless we asked. We had to remind her three times that we would have breakfast the second day, as she had promised, and she seemed very bothered by that. In the second room the sink light was broken, the shower drain was almost clogged, the shower gel was mostly water with a little gel of poor quality, there was no hand soap unlike the first room, and there was almost no storage except a single small shelf that wasn’t even fully free. We made several unpleasant remarks about our short two‑night stay: my dog shed too much hair, was too lively, too curious, too social (even though it was always on a leash, including during breakfast); I was, as always, very vigilant about its behavior. I had warned the owner that it was a bit “foufou,” which she apparently forgot when we booked. I am a very respectful person toward places and people, yet the rude, judgmental, and oppressive attitude of this lady was especially displeasing. We almost asked her if we had the right to breathe.
