“If you can find other options it’s better if you are a girl or if you really like mosquitoes..”
The only place in town, but it sat on a motorway beside a junkyard and felt like a mosquito nest. The beds were uncomfortable, though the girls’ room looked a lot nicer. I stayed for a month and my sheets were never changed. One shower had no lock, the other had a broken door, and the toilets were shared and not properly fixed to the floor. When I mentioned the broken shower door to the receptionist, she got upset, especially after the cheap, almost homemade door finally fell apart. The toilet light also needed fixing. I started work at 7:30 am, but the kitchen was only open from 7:30–10:00 and then again from 16:00–22:00, so I couldn’t realistically make breakfast before work or lunch during the day. The accommodation was next to a junkyard, the internet was poor, and there were many mosquitoes. Some residents were difficult and occasionally aggressive, including people from a nearby Roma community. The receptionist was particularly bossy and often made the overall experience more unpleasant than necessary. Even with over 600 € spent, it would still have been expensive at 400 €.
