The facilities and surroundings were great.

The valley and the Aisa cirque were wonderful and close by. The staff’s whims forced us to adapt, not the other way around. We thought we were flexible, but the owner’s rock‑and‑roll attitude left us stunned. Don’t book a table for your birthday like I did; the daily menu won’t be served. In the evening expect only reheated leftovers from previous days, poorly warmed. Thanks to the two young servers (students?) whose kindness saved the evening.

The hotel sits in a lovely village near the Valles Occidentales natural park, making it a great base for day hikes. We stayed four nights, and for most of that time only one person handled everything. The staff were attentive and caring. The restaurant offered decent food, but reliability was an issue; it’s best to confirm availability beforehand. Outside seating is nice, and many cyclists and bikers stop by, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Inside there’s a large lounge with a TV, books, and a small fridge for guests to store items. Two problems were uncomfortable: the room shower is a button‑style unit with no temperature control, so the water stayed cold until the last day when I finally got a warm shower. The room was too hot; the air conditioning didn’t work.

Parking was available. The management’s attitude, lack of air conditioning, and the access road were not up to the reservation. They sought conflict instead of dialogue.
