25 m² · 2 double beds
The communication was polite, quick, and very good. The odor was strong.
The place was clean. The staff were absent and it took time to get a response.
The location and the cheap price were great. Right after checking in, the fire alarm blared, and we had to evacuate, but the stairwell was blocked with luggage and trash. The front desk said it was a false alarm, so we felt reassured, but if a real fire had happened, panic, injuries, or even fatalities could have occurred. On top of that, the pillow had long hair on it, and the pillowcase hadn’t been changed. The room’s remote control was dead when I checked in, so I couldn’t use the room’s amenities all day. I asked for a battery replacement, and they lied that they had already swapped it; when it still didn’t work, I was told to go to the front desk and then back to my room. I needed a quick fix, so I went to a nearby shop to buy a battery after reluctantly going back to the front.
“Convient location, easy check in”
Getting in and out was a breeze, and being right in the middle of Tokyo made moving around the city a snap—just a short walk from the train station. The GPS, however, was a nightmare; even with the exact address, Google and Apple maps kept sending us to the wrong spot, and copy‑pasting didn’t help at all. It felt like a trick to get the address to show up correctly, and we had to try multiple maps just to find the hotel.
