The venue’s location is good, but there were no swabs or a dishwasher knife.

The room smelled like fresh paint and the walls weren’t fully painted. A staff member kept blasting a car horn in front of the gate and opened it repeatedly, after I’d driven 800 km hoping for a good night's sleep that I didn’t get. There were too few cutlery pieces and plates for two people, and no dish towels to dry the dishes.

We arrived early and they let us store our bags in a room before check‑in, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the room was infested with many cockroaches on the headboard, wardrobe, and in the bathroom, and the Wi‑Fi stayed down from arrival even after we notified reception.

The hotel was clean, well located, and the reception was helpful. The water in Queenstown was dirty, which was frustrating, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.
