The place was calm and not chaotic, and they offered a free onsen. Water and ice were available on the first floor, and waking up to see Mt. Fuji made me very happy. Even though there was a smoking room, the smell was quite bothersome and resembled the odor of a person who hadn’t showered.

The staff were very friendly, and the buffet dinner had many good choices; the desserts were especially enjoyable. The shuttle between Kawaguchiko Station and the hotel worked well, but I didn’t use the onsen so I can’t comment on that. The breakfast, however, was disappointing: only one type of bread, a poor quality roll, and croissants with an artificial aftertaste; butter was replaced by margarine, and fresh fruit was limited to lychees for each of the three breakfasts I had, with canned fruit available. I did like the pan‑fried salmon pieces, corn croquettes, and miso soup, which I ate every morning. Despite a wide range of Japanese options, a bit more effort for Western tastes would help.

I liked the gift shop and the handmade items were unique. I would have preferred more English options on the TV or subtitles, and it would have been nice to mirror phone apps onto the TV.

清潔感あり. 夕食付き宿泊でしたが… ２日間のメニュー、半分は同じのでした。 楽しみにしていたので残念です。 隣の部屋(スタッフ専用) 夜中音がし目が何度か覚めた！
