The location was fantastic, surrounded by rainforest and just metres from a beautiful beach. The accommodation matched the advertised expectations and was very comfortable. The restaurant offered a variety of dishes and drinks, plus board games to keep you entertained. Every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful.

We wanted a spot near the Bloomfield track and chose this lodge mainly for that reason, so the location suited us perfectly. The lodge has direct access to the beach, which is a unique experience, although you can’t swim there because of crocodile danger. The restaurant was good and also offered vegetarian options. There was no WIFI, and since we had no reception, this was not acceptable in our view.

The place is close to the beach. However, the mattress and facilities are poor, and it doesn’t feel worth the price.
