The owner is really good and caring. We stayed for a week and everything was great. Trains are nearby but only during the day, and they didn’t cause any problems.

The reception and the host’s friendliness, plus the tranquility (3 km from Mirissa center). The train passes right next to it.

A friendly lady welcomed us with lemonade, and by the end of our stay we had a pleasant chat, but throughout we barely saw any staff. Reaching out via WhatsApp or the booking platform was almost impossible and we never got a reply to our questions. Our room was right next to the railway line, which isn’t ideal. Trains run from 5.30 am and then every 20 minutes, but they stop at 10 pm in the evening (luckily). Be aware the building sits adjacent to the tracks; if you’re not bothered by the noise or you’re a good sleeper, it’s a decent stay for a good price.
