“Perfect for 1-2 nights”

Check‑in was available 24/7, which worked perfectly for us because we were driving from Sydney and arrived very late. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the location quiet. Parking was free, and a water dispenser on the same floor was outside. The sink’s design is poor and water pools around the tap. I wish the parking had overhead cover because it rained that day. The hotel is quite far from all facilities, requiring about a 20‑minute drive to the nearest spot I know.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the premises were clean, and it was convenient to have both a restaurant and a bar on site. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure, though the bathroom felt a bit dull and lacked a makeup mirror.

“Their staff need training on evacuation procedures.”

The check‑in staff were fantastic, nothing to fault there. The next morning, however, an evacuation left us in the cold wind and rain without shoes, and no staff member spoke to any guests. Two firetrucks were called because a selfish guest smoked in their room. When I checked out and raised concerns about the bottom stairwell door that wouldn’t open during the evacuation, the reception girl showed no care or apology, and no one else offered any empathy or communication.
