How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location by the sea is beautiful and the breakfast is very good. The hotel restaurant offers decent food at reasonable prices, and as house guests we were able to get a table for dinner without a reservation. The room did not have a garden view but faced the back courtyard of the restaurant, where the exhaust was blowing out; on the evening of 22.09 the room was oddly warm even though all radiators were cold.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Rachel greeted us when we arrived, was friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home; she also served excellently in the dining room and represented the hotel and Anstruther well. The rest of the staff were very helpful. Breakfast on both days was delicious and set a great tone for the day. The location was perfect for day trips to nearby spots. This hotel is a gem.

The rooms were very clean and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and well‑cooked dishes. We felt a bit rushed to check out at 10:30 because breakfast took a while to arrive.
