The team at Sediba were super friendly, attentive, and genuinely wanted us to be happy the whole time. On day one they had a BBQ but there was no halal meat available, so they apologized sincerely and later on the last couple of days they went out of their way to bring us halal meat to make up for it, which we really appreciated. Our safari guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable, patient, active, and enthusiastic—and it was clear he wanted us to have the best experience possible and put a lot of effort into each game drive. Nothing else to add.

Staying at Sediba felt like staying at a friend’s house; we loved it. The food was fantastic and the service incredible. The rooms were amazing, and the stars were unforgettable. Sundowners among the wild animals were a highlight. I didn’t mind the 17 km on a dirt track before reaching the gate, nor the extra 40 minutes on more dirt track to the lodge—once we arrived, it didn’t bother me at all.

The staff were competent and extremely friendly, the cuisine exquisite, and the accommodation luxurious in a typical South African bush biodiverse environment. Our guide, Tumi, was very knowledgeable and always ready to go the extra mile to get us wildlife sightings. Unfortunately, Welgevonden Game Reserve has significantly reduced the number of predators—only 6 lions and 4 cheetahs—making it hard to spot them.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, the lodge very luxurious, and the game ranger very knowledgeable. The food was excellent. The public road to the property is really bad, which makes access difficult.
