Loved the view and food; the caretaker and his wife were very accommodating, gave us local sightseeing tips and packed breakfast for our early‑morning trip the next day. The heater assigned to us didn’t work, but after we mentioned it the caretaker replaced it promptly.

The staff were exceptional; Chamara went above and beyond, even waking up early to prepare breakfast before our hike. The place is close to Lake Gregory and is clean.

The staff were friendly and always gave us whatever we needed, and the breakfast was good. The location was good too. However, the facilities were poor and the cleanliness could be better. In the rooms, at the very least they should have an electric kettle, water bottles, and tea and coffee like other hotels. Currently, there is nothing in the rooms, and we have to ask for everything. The staff are supportive, but they wouldn’t have to be so tired if the necessary amenities were provided in the first place.

One hardworking person did almost everything for everyone. Most of the time no one is there for any assistance. We were highly disappointed from the very moment checked in. Packed rooms. Linens and pillow cases were used , dirty and smelling. Unfortunately we were late due to car broke down on the way so had no choice.promised our breakfast at 0900. But served at 1100. Of course only one table, one hardworking person. Here they charged guests according to a USD selling rate of a private bank in sri lanka and not as per Google/ Central bank of Sri lanka exchange rates. Accordingly we had to pay LKR 5000.00 more. The Manager, said this is the advise given by the owner, Chanaka. Overall ita not at all professionally managed. Over charged compared to similar properties around
