At first there was no large enough pot to cook spaghetti or other pasta, which is odd in Italy… The owner did bring another pot when we asked. There was also insufficient toilet paper, but that was fixed after we sent a note. No suitable knife for cutting fruit or vegetables, no scissors, no hairpins. We wanted to be left alone to unwind, but the owner was a real app user and, combined with the listed shortcomings, we couldn’t fully disconnect. Over the week we counted 33 messages from him. Luckily he was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in a spacious and comfortable apartment with a good location. The kitchen had the basics; more would be nice but it sufficed for simple meals. There were plenty of towels and other hygiene items. The owners tried to help with questions, and check‑in and check‑out were flexible. However, I would rate it higher if not for several issues: Wi‑Fi was down for the first four days, then switched providers and worked but slowly; it’s often cut off, fine for leisure but impossible for work. The house rules ask to be respectful of neighbors and noise, yet the request feels one‑sided. During the day I heard shouting and loud conversations from neighbors, and one night they smashed things and screamed until 2 am, showing zero respect. The dining area is poorly lit (no windows) and the bedroom window doesn’t open. They should fumigate; there were cockroaches.

The apartment is in a convenient Quartu area, close to the center and clinics. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was spotless. The Wi‑Fi is completely inadequate for remote work and the data network doesn’t work inside. The kitchen is under‑equipped.

The apartment is comfortable, functional, and has everything needed. It’s very close to Cagliari. The two owners are genuinely kind and helpful. The towels could be larger.
