The location offered a great view of Gergeti, and Maia was incredibly warm and hospitable, yet the heating was switched off, the toilet leaked, it was extremely cold when I went out, and the bed was extremely soft.

We arrived wet and chilled, the staff were very helpful and promptly fixed the heating; it would have been beautiful in better weather, but it was cold. The toilet didn’t flush.

The views were great. The owner was very unpleasant and wouldn’t lock the room or help us; she even got angry. The facilities were very old. She claimed there was parking at the property, but that’s false—you have to leave it on a street slope. The next day we stayed elsewhere and it was a light‑year better than this place.

The dinner was really good, and there were affordable meals on site. The view from the window was beautiful (at least in the room we slept in). The bed was soft and the room was clean. The staff were friendly. The shower was weak and the water was too cold. The staff kept opening windows in the hallway and bathroom, so taking a shower after a tiring day was a nightmare. In the early morning the room was so cold that it was hard to get out of bed.
