The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but the location is terrible. The hotel sits on a very steep hill that most transport providers refuse to go up, so dragging a suitcase up the summit is a chore. Even after 20 years in the Philippines, I was shocked by the number of roosters around the hotel; the noise is incredible, and even with earplugs you’ll struggle. The hotel is surrounded by trash and debris. Despite advertising breakfast, the restaurant was closed, and I was offered a coupon for a low‑quality canteen across town, which I politely declined and asked for a refund (which I received). That meant I couldn’t have a quiet coffee before starting the day. Don’t stay here.

The Garden Villa was the ideal spot to unwind, just a stone's throw from the front beach yet still incredibly quiet and serene. The breakfast, however, fell short of expectations and didn't match Henry's usual high standards. – Kim

I really liked the service, the staff were great, and the bed was comfy. The hotel sits on a slope and the taxi wouldn’t go up, so I had to haul my suitcase up with a backpack; a few dogs in front of the hotel were barking, but they seemed harmless.

El hotel en si es bonito pero . El servicio, se supone que incluye desayuno y es pésimo, pedimos el día anterior el baguette con omelette, nos propusieron tomarlo en la habitación y no llegaba, tuvimos que bajar a reclamarlo y no estaba ni hecho. Había dos mesas en el comedor esperando también. Cuándo llega, el pan está duro y no hay leche ni mantequilla ni nada. El segundo día ya desayunamos fuera. Tampoco tenían bebidas para tomar. La piscina y los alrededores como muy dejados y llenos de hojas. Una pena para un hotel asi. La habitación no se habia limpiado a las 17h tuve que reclamarlo, al dia siguiente mas de lo mismo. Parece que no hay personal o es mala gestión. Decepcionante!
