The spot was exactly what I wanted, but there was no breakfast even though posters advertised options and times. The carpet was very old and needed a deep clean, the bathroom was grimy, the floor was filthy and required a serious scrub—I had to use a nail brush to clean part of it. No staff were available to discuss these issues while I was in the room, and when I left there was no one to handle the checkout, so I had to mail the key through the letterbox and email the property. The room was overpriced and I was hit with hefty Tax Recovery Charges and Service fees.

The room was a good size and had lots of great features such as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom as well as tea and coffee station. It also included possibly the strongest shower I've ever experienced in a hotel room :) It's based in a housing estate with the adjoining pub pretty handy
