It’s a new hotel, nicely built with good rooms and wide walkways in a good location. It sits on the main road, but there is no traffic between about 8 pm and 8 am; if you want more quiet, ask for a side or rear room.

I was biking from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai when I stopped here, and the owners were amazing – they set up a bike stand, handed me a hose, brush, and rags to clean my bike, and then stored it on a rack in the lobby. They’re cyclists themselves, so they totally get it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the road noise was hardly noticeable.

The staff were friendly, but the room’s cleanliness left something to be desired: spider webs and insect remnants on the walls in both the room and the bathroom. The traffic noise was very loud because the hotel sits on the main road. The room was listed as 35 sqm, but it actually measured only about 12‑13 sqm.
