“Schöner Aufenthalt”
A nice, modern holiday home with everything you need, highly recommended for families or groups; the attached hotel is a plus, offering hotel perks and a spa. It is a bit far from the beach.

Great. We enjoyed it every day. We liked the pool. The rolls were too papery for my taste.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, even offering waffles you could prepare yourself, and an omelette on request; the service and the Jacuzzi also impressed us. However, many older guests were around, and speaking a bit loudly earned a sideways glance.

The room was very spacious and centrally located between St. Peter‑Ording Dorf and the beach, right behind the dunes in the forest; the staff were friendly, the breakfast generous, and the hotel was very dog‑friendly ☺️, plus the massage was great. On the downside, it feels more like a solid 4‑star hotel rather than a 5‑star, since the minibar and water bottle are never refilled or replaced, even if you pay, and the sauna area isn’t huge, though the indoor and outdoor pools are lovely.

Breakfast was truly excellent, with homemade jams, guacamole, and many little extras you don’t usually find; the restaurant’s selection was superb, the menu left almost no desire unmet, and the hotel’s concept shows great empathy for guests. The saunas were varied, the lobby comfortable, and the bar offered a wide range of drinks and cocktails. Dogs were not allowed in the restaurant, which matched my hygiene expectations—something not common in many restaurants. The downside is that although dogs are welcome, we were surprised by the sheer number; rooms come with bedding that isn’t dog‑friendly, there are no designated dog‑free rooms, so someone with a pet‑hair allergy would struggle; the dog towels in the lobby looked the same as the guest towels in the rooms (perhaps use a different colour).
