“Great location and friendly staff, but the rooms need refurbishment.”

The hotel sits in a prime spot with great public‑transport links and a lovely neighbourhood full of pubs and restaurants. The room was clean and housekeeping came daily, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Unfortunately, the room needs refurbishment: the floor is uneven, the furniture and fittings look worn and dated, and the lighting is poor with several LED spotlights broken. The bathroom mirror is partially deteriorated, making it hard to see in some spots, and the shower drips.

“Habitación amplia y limpia”

Everything was spotless, the room was pretty spacious, and the area was quiet 😃 I’d come back. It’s a bit far from the metro, and the bathroom made some noise, though it didn’t bother me because I fell asleep quickly. Still, if you’re light‑sleeping or sensitive to sounds, it might be annoying.

“Good value for money with good connections to public transport”

The room was roomy for London, came with a fridge, kettle and safe—big pluses in my notes—while the bathroom featured a large vanity that could fit two people at once and a bathtub. It felt a touch dated, but nothing that bothered me; the only issue was the underground noise at night, so I had to bring earplugs.

“Very basic , soulless hotel”

The place is clean and comfortable, not too far from an underground station, but it lacks atmosphere and the staff knew nothing about the area and weren’t very helpful at all. The full English breakfast at £14.50 was very poor, as was the continental (from what we saw), and there was no tea option—only an Earl Grey in a cup that cooled quickly; a teapot would have been better. I didn’t have another breakfast there after the first.
