I ended up staying six nights at Janaka’s House instead of the planned four and it was fantastic. The family was lovely and welcoming, even cooking with me after I shopped for groceries. Janaka celebrated his birthday on my arrival day and invited me and older guests to lunch at his place—this really shows how welcoming the place is.

Staying at Janaka's guest house feels like visiting a distant family, no fancy luxury but a warm, familial vibe. Janata is a great guy, and his conversation alone makes me want to return. The spot is perfect, close to cheap, tasty restaurants, and just a stone’s throw from the beach. The wifi is a bit shaky, so if you need to work, grab extra data.

The accommodation was very clean and the family incredibly hospitable. There is free water and two fans in the room. The family has an adorable dog that greets everyone with affection, and you can park in the courtyard.
