🤔 They did try to make the room functional; breakfast is the usual Swiss style and is acceptable for those who like to sleep in summer with temperatures over 30°C with frottenfixleintuch. There’s great potential for improvement, which was communicated directly. The fridge is defective.
“A Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff”
The hotel provided a pleasant stay with a helpful and friendly staff, a delicious breakfast, and a convenient location. However, the room size was a drawback, and some minor issues with accessibility and amenities were noted. Overall, the hotel is a good choice for a short stay, especially for those visiting the nearby Splash and Spa Tamaro.
The room was clean enough, but the soap dispensers fell apart in the shower. The staff were friendly and child‑friendly. The hotel is right around the corner from Splash and Spa and the mnt. Tamaro, which is great if you’re visiting that spot, but the price is clearly inflated, which I don’t think is acceptable. We paid less than half the price for a comparable room at Piazza Grande in Locarno. The room was far too expensive for what was offered. I can’t really rate the breakfast; it was the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. Because of other guests, my child refused to eat dinner there. The entire floor where the rooms were smelled like extreme cigarette smoke, fresh and stale… The rooms are extremely noisy.
