A charming hostess in a comfortable setting with a hearty, high‑quality breakfast. The location allows visits to many sites at a reasonable distance, and the natural surroundings are stunning and especially restorative.

A very calm and pleasant setting; Michelle was welcoming, warm, and above all very helpful. The accommodation was impeccable.

Breakfast, like the house itself, was simply amazing—especially if you love breads and jam. The place is run by an unusual woman, and the nearby village of Mellionnec is delightfully alternative, with a fabulous bookshop, a community‑run food store, and plenty of friendly hippie types. There was a small mix‑up with our arrival because of a technical glitch, so we had to head to Mellionnec while the room was being prepared. That turned out to be a good move, though, because they were hosting an annual fete that evening with great vegetarian food and local music. The shower room wasn’t very spacious.

The calm and beauty of the location, the kindness of the owner, and the hearty, varied breakfast made it ideal for fishing or walking along the Nantes‑to‑Brest canal. We’ll definitely come back.
