Located 35 km from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the hotel offers easy access to Huntley Meadows Park, George Washington Masonic National Memorial, and Old Town Waterfront, with a highly rated breakfast and excellent service.

The hotel was conveniently located for the event I was attending, and breakfast was acceptable. I didn’t expect a lot from a Hampton Inn, but I did expect the room not to smell like cigarette smoke, and if a problem like that couldn’t be fixed that day, I expected a room change. That didn’t happen. The odor was noticeable as soon as I opened the door. It was only 5 pm, so I went back to the desk and asked for a switch. But the new system that lets people check in and open doors from their phones made switching rooms impossible, at least at this Hampton Inn. It was a sold‑out night, and even though many guests hadn’t arrived yet, every room was assigned in a way that couldn’t be overridden. With everything in the area sold out, I turned the fan on high, bought my own odor absorbers, and managed. It wasn’t worth the price I paid.

The room was spacious and clean. The pillows were horrible and not comfortable at all.
