The welcome from the friendly host was warm. The room and bathroom were clean, with good towels and toiletries available. The room itself was bright, modernly furnished, and cozy. The house sits on the edge of Ostercappeln in a completely quiet single‑family housing area, well connected to regional and interregional roads. Within barely 5 minutes on foot is a large supermarket. Even on weekends there are hourly bus lines that make the Archaeology Park Kalkriese and the city of Osnabrück, about 20 km away, easily reachable. The guest rooms are wheelchair‑accessible via an elevator directly from the parking lot.
