“Cerca de la playa”
The area is a bit away from the city centre, but at the entrance there are several bus lines to downtown and a bus station. It’s close to the beach (El Sardinero I and II), Las Llamas park, the Racing de Santander stadium, a sports complex, and the University of Cantabria. The accommodation has what you need for a few days and to explore the city, the neighbourhood is very safe, and there are supermarkets nearby.
“Un lugar donde NO ir”
The location was fine. Everything else was dirty, no air‑conditioning, a small bathroom, a dirty bathtub, dirty windows, a broken vending machine, and the owner was rude and unhelpful.

A huge, nice room that’s quiet, and you can walk to the city centre in 15 minutes. The bathroom had no ventilation, so it got damp and there was no fan, and there weren’t many restaurants nearby.

The location and the owner’s friendliness were great, with very personal service. I would have liked a softer mattress and a larger mirror to get ready, but that didn’t take away from the good attention and guidance from the owner.
Very friendly welcome, great value for money, quiet and close to both the ocean and the city centre. No air‑conditioning and a lack of fans.
