Breakfast was more than ample, the bed super comfortable, the room quiet and squeaky clean, and the location overall good; staff were friendly and answered any queries we had, making it a great stay. The only potential issue is that the hotel has only stairs to the rooms, which might trouble those who can’t walk up stairs, though I feel the stairs added to the ambience and charm.

The location is great for walking to Charmouth and Lyme Regis or catching the bus right opposite the hotel, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The staff were lovely, the hotel beautiful, and breakfast very nice; the room was comfortable with a great bed and super pillows, and I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Breakfast was excellent and dinner was too; I wish we had been warned that our room was at the top of the building up several flights of stairs, which was a bit much for a couple in their late eighties—Room 8.

Eating at 7 pm was a bit late; I would have preferred the time to be 6.30 or 6 pm.
