The rooms and garden were beautiful, the breakfast tasty, and the nearby restaurant at Cockatoo served good food. A short walk to the Memz eatery offers tasty burgers. The main drawback is the location—without renting a scooter you can’t get anywhere. There’s no pool or beach nearby; the nearest beach is Paliton, but that one is a let‑down compared to other beaches in the Philippines and worldwide. Siquijor gets boring quickly; it’s better to stay at a resort where you can swim or read in a beach chair.

The place is refined, truly out‑of‑the‑ordinary, impeccably clean, classy, with a soul, and the vegetation is stunning. It’s a pity that for this level of service there is no hot water.

The outdoor shower was fantastic! Sleeping upstairs with air‑conditioning was wonderful, and the breakfasts were delicious.
